Fri 17.8.12. Loctudy.
The last of the low blows through overnight.
This morning the fishing fleet returns to sea.
Today's breezes are light and variable.
The tides come fair for Audierne and the Raz from Sunday. By then the breeze is forecast to settle, with some south in it, to see us on our way.
I've got time to cross the Anse du Pouldon and explore Ile Tudy:
Picture postcard streets.
Beckoning alleyways.
The long, silver, sweep of the Atlantic beach...
...and the sheltered shores of the Rivière de Pont L'Abbe.
