En France 21

The 'Peche a pied' gets under way, for those with the hunter gatherer instinct, and work ethic, burning strong.

Others prefer to allow their prey to do the work. Seeking out their baited lures, whilst they remain seated.

The heat of the midday sun has banished all hint, of the sea fog and lowing horns, from the harbour.

Slowly filtering through the silvery billows with a spectral glow.

On a still morning when only the heavily canvassed, scow bowed, skimming dish 6.5m class racers can make way under sail. And even they, scarcely.

I set out, to collect my lunchtime baguette, on a grey morning.

And return, to Stargazer, on a sun soaked afternoon. In time to help Jean-Pierre Kelbert (JPK) with Mareann's lines.

Tomorrow's forecast is for a passage making westerly force five. I shall give no hostages to fortune, by saying more.
