Sat 1.9.12. Brest. Port du Chateau.
Today's knock on the cabin top comes from French Customs. Ships Papers checked and in order; new anchorages pointed out on my charts; Certificate of Inspection issued; coffee declined.
Winds are light, as forecast. Promised a W 3-4 tomorrow. We'll run out of daylight before we make Roscoff though. So we're aiming for L'Aber Wrac'h.
In fact tides and daylight don't fit well for coastal hops E next week. I'm tempted to put in an overnight reach, from L'Aber Wrac'h into Dartmouth, if Tuesday's NW 3-4 comes in.
A Circus is in Brest for the weekend. It's pitched tents behind the Quay.
