Blue sky, bluer sea, golden hayfields and raw granite.
The switchback cliff path weaves through a kaleidoscope of colour.
Cormorants perch. Waiting hungrily.
On cliffs which plunge sheer, into clear waters.
Amid the green of the hedgerows, ragwort glows chrome yellow.
And blackberries slowly ripen.
Beyond a wave gnarled promontory, the path plunges steeply downward.
Into Port Fouquet.
A sand filled ravine. Within which, three shoal draft boats find seasonal shelter; and children dig for pirate treasure.
Whilst paddlers play, dogs are walked and swimmers luxuriate in its sun-warmed waters.
