Dandelion 82

At the first stirrings of a sea breeze, the Saturday dinghy sailors take to the Loctudy beach.

Which is otherwise surprisingly sparsely populated, for the Bastille Day weekend. Which usually marks the start of peak holiday season, in France. (Think UK August Bank holiday). The sweaters, donned as beachwear, a likely clue as to the reason.

But a cooler than usual summer cannot counter Loctudy's scenic charm. Stargazer (red ensign far left) is in the company of French, German and Austrian companions, on the visitors' pontoon. As well as three fellow Brits.
