Lowing foghorns mingled with my dreams this morning, as I rolled over for a lie in. A knock on the hull finally brought me on deck: Would I be able to re- anchor? A powerboat race was about to start; Stargazer was on the racing line.
Re- anchored, closer under the castle walls, I enjoyed a ring side seat, for the thrills....
...and the spills. Not a typical Guernsey Sunday, but all part of the "lucky dip" joys of cruising!
A night passage to Cawsand (Plymouth) makes best use of the tide. Likely departure time around 15.00 Monday.
