I live by the sea, maybe live for the sea, on an island in the tidal River Medway. Just downstream of the historic Chatham Naval Dockyard - where Nelson's Victory was built. The gale gradually abates, through the day. Squalls reducing in their ferocity and frequency.
Out in the Rade, the white caps subside.
Perhaps, tomorrow Stargazer may spread her wings and put to sea.
