Thr 28.6.12: La Rochelle, Vieux Port, Bassin d'Echouage. Whilst stocking up on provisions I discover the Bassin des Chalutiers:
It's where La Rochelle's wooden boats are based.
There's a buzz of activity as working boats...
...and yachts are made ready to put to sea.
Its a reminder that I must ready myself and Stargazer to begin our northbound cruise. Planning starts....tomorrow.
