Tue 24.7.12. Ile Houat, Treac'h Salus. Meteo France were right. The wind went NE overnight and we're nicely sheltered by the cliffs today.
Houat is made for messing about on the water and local boats throng here at lunchtime.
Think we'll make the most of the NE 4 forecast tomorrow and sail up to Belle Ile.
See if we can anchor off Port Kerel (mid way along the S coast). On the chart it looks like a steep sided creek that would give shelter from the NE and NW 5's forecast later in the week.
