Could be starting North in the morning after all. Switched pump off for the afternoon. I sat and drank chilled water in the shade after a hot morning in the cockpit locker. Restarted pump just now; it seems back to normal. Accumulator was flat so maybe pressurising it did the trick.
I'll decide in the morning: pump quiet overnight and we make for Les Sables d'Olonne; pump pulsing and it's La Rochelle.
