An English Summer 4

School day sailing lessons from the beach.

Those first, tentative, moments afloat. The key to the door, of a world of infinite adventures, bestowed. A spark forever ignited.

This English summer has roused itself, from its winter slumbers, and blossomed into a sun-drenched life.

Dover's steep banked, shingle, shoreline fills with sun worshipers, swimmers and watersports enthusiasts.

The shaded cafes, of the white faced seafront terraces, provide lunchers with respite from the height of the noon sun. . . .

. . . .beneath their parasols, leafy boughs and elegant, wrought iron, balconies.

A vantage point, from which to watch the intricate dance of the ferries, as they come and go.
Stargazer will be making toward Eastbourne or Newhaven, on the morning tide. Wind strength, and the speed of our passage, will determine our destination.
