The tors, of Ile Milliau, stand watch above the port of Trebeurden. Reminiscent of the moai of Easter Island.
Pink granite molars erupt from land and sea alike.
Only beyond half tide is Ile Milliau truly an island. A moat of sea cutting it off from the shore. Leaving just a wave sculpted turret, to mark the ridge, that forms a natural low water causeway.
Which leads to the wooded isle. The deep green of the foliage lending its tint to the water which surrounds it.
Today, no wind stirs. Tomorrow, a moderate east or northeasterly is expected. Before strong easterly headwinds arrive, for the weekend.
Stargazer plans to clear the Trebeurden cill, this evening. Lying to a mooring, in the pool, overnight. Ready to ride the dawn tide, west.
