Stargazer studies her reflection...
...in the golden light of dawn.
We are anchored below Frenchman's Creek.
The mysterious stillness, of the creek, beckons; I row in, to explore.
The sun paints the trees a startling emerald, and bleaches the bones of fallen trees.
A Falmouth Oyster dredger works her way upriver, towards Gweek, sails aglow; as a morning breeze ruffles the water.
Just 48 hours ago Stargazer was clawing her way here....,
...hard on the wind, in 25 knots of breeze, fog and slab sided swell.
The afternoon sun drove away the fog; The lee of The Lizard calmed the swell.
We shook the reefs out to ghost up through the moorings....
....to our anchorage.
