Is the legend of Lyonesse (the drowned kingdom to the west of Kernow), a folk memory, of the formation of the Scilly archipelago? Our Bronze Age forebears, in this area, certainly witnessed the inundation of their farm lands and settlements, by the Atlantic Ocean.
