The tide sets the rhythm, at the head of the creek. When the water is low, the pace is relaxed; there's no reason for hurry.

This morning, a bold "Bonxie" (Great Skua), stole my breakfast toast, left momentarily untended in Stargazer's cockpit.
The pilfered toast was made from the last of the bread on board. A reminder that today I had work to do ashore: re stocking the bread bin and salad drawer.
There's a light (F2) east to north east breeze today; due to strengthen to a 3-4, maybe 5 off Lands End, during Tuesday and Wednesday. Its our wind for Scilly. We'll catch the evening turn of the tide, off The Lizard, tomorrow; make an overnight passage; and expect to arrive in Scilly by mid morning on Wednesday - with all day to find a suitable anchorage.
